Rise in Love, Fall in Hate

Posted by | Dating, Lifestyle | No Comments

We hear the term ‘falling in love” so often and it’s something we have all done to some degree or at least fantasized about. We are certainly never ashamed to admit we are falling, or have fallen in love.
Rarely, however, do you ever hear anyone talk about “falling in hate”. Yet we all do it. Maybe we don’t admit it to ourselves and that is why we never talk about it. Read More

50 Ways To Please Your Lover

Posted by | Dating, Sex | No Comments

Well I certainly like that better than ‘leave your lover’. Well this doesn’t specifically list fifty ways to please your lover; it will certainly give you the ground work for lots and lots, which could technically be considered fifty. Hell, even the Christian bible states forty days and nights as an abbreviation for lots and lots so why can’t I? *wink*

I’ve been reading about pleasure zones and ways to please a man and learned many things I’d love to share with you. They are often called ‘erogenous zones’ they have been used for, well as long as we naked apes have been pleasuring each other. As skilled in bed as one might be, there’s always room for improvement. So here are a few things to consider when looking for ways to please your lover. Read More

Here we are mid-January. Well we can sigh and get huffy and throw our hands in the air (wave em around like we just don’t care) flop dramatically on our pretty pillows, get pouty, bitch, complain, talk about the weather to anyone who will listen…wait, what am I saying? You’ve probably already done all that!

So, since that is out of the way, let’s try something fun instead!

But, you say, how can I have fun in January? Well you can. Just trust me and shut up. *wink* Read More

New year, new look!

Are you one of those people who never knows what to wear to a certain event? I am! I don’t even know what to wear everyday….It kind of bugs me everyone assumes gay men just automatically have a fashion sense. Worse, because in my circle of friends we really are a bit superficial. Hate to admit it but it’s true!

It has taken me ears to figure out a simple strategy for always having something to wear to pretty much any occasion. Read More

Turn Shopping into Stopping…to smell the roses!

We’ve all seen it, we’ve all done it. We see people at the mall, holding hands, strolling through acres of sparkly stuff from China…

Or at the grocery store, deciding what kind of mushrooms to get or if this soy milk has fewer carbs than that almond milk (go for the almond)

It’s a common enough scene but is it really a good relationship builder?

Money is after all the main reason people fight and break-up. Cheating is the second but that’s a tale for another blog, here on the riverbanks, with hammy and his friends.

But I digress. I am good at that. Read More

Tag Teaming Life

A while back I wrote a blog about why it’s great to stay single. So due to public pressure, heh, I feel I have to show the converse side; why being part of a couple is good for you.
Just to help you make the right decision for you!

So according to Florida State University in 2010, which observed 1,621 college students, single people have higher rates of depression. In fact, those with multiple sexual partners were even more likely to be depressed. So single and promiscuous are not the ingredients to a happy life after all, unless you’re James Bond…and who is? Even James bond isn’t really James Bond!
Of course, you may not be in a relationship in the first place because you are depressed. So it is a bit of a catch 22. Read More
